Services - Systems Integration

A field of thought among people working in the technology sector is that we're no longer software developers, we're software plumbers. We spend a good deal of time building pipes between systems to enable data-flow.

Most medium to large size businesses have more than one back-office system that needs to communicate with other parts of the business in order to get their jobs completed. At Three Rock, we have worked on a number (approx 8) projects over the last 10 years where a key goal was to either integrate existing systems or to put the necessary pipes in place to enable communication between systems.

Our experience in this area includes

  • Designing and implementing web service standards for a multi-national company.
  • Integrating with proprietary middleware solutions.
  • Building our own data extraction software for communication with a data warehouse.

If you have systems that need to talk to each other, or you're thinking of building/buying a new system and legacy integration issues are getting in the way, give Three Rock a call. We'll find a solution.
