What is "CoLab"?

"CoLab"oration is a network of Internet and software developers set up by Threerock Software to work together on projects.

By pooling together a diversity of skills and tools we can tackle projects that might otherwise fall outside the range of smaller teams.

What kind of projects?

The nature of projects vary between stand-alone windows based applications to advanced network management systems. A growing number tend to be ecommerce related jobs using cutting-edge technologies. They are not always commercial however as research is a valuable commodity in this ever changing IT climate.

So what's in it for me as a customer?

If you have an Internet or software development project that you want to succeed using the talented skills of a diverse range of technologists, "CoLab" is right up your street. All you need is the idea! We will take the concept and plan it out on the drawing board, then turn it into reality. Development schedules are usually shorter than you would imagine as the international appeal of "CoLab" means it's always 9:00am somewhere around the world.

So what's in it for me as a developer?

You are rewarded both financially and through gaining the experience of your peers. Developers who specialise in COM or ATL can for instance liaise with CORBA or JAVA developers over the course of a project. This doesn't stop when the project stops as Threerock encourages the continued growth of developer relationships. It's a small world out there...We're trying to make it smaller.
